At its heart, the Spark Lab Post is about the human alchemy of creativity: seeing the beauty in ordinary materials, thoughts, and moments, and turning them into something more profound than the sum of their parts. Through daily acts of noticing and creating, we can learn to see more vividly, and move through the world with joy and a deeper appreciation for the wonder of everyday life.
Like its precursor biweekly emails, each Spark Lab Post will dive into one inspiring topic from the natural world, human history, or everyday objects. Inside this vintage newspaper style letter, you'll find 3-5 creative sidequests inspired by that topic. Think: exercises that turn your day into a scavenger hunt, writing and journal prompts for expression and imagination, or creating art with materials you love or have. We embrace messiness, curiosity, and play, to rewire attention and enrich perception. I want letters to be interactive, and will include easy paper projects along the theme, as well as other goodies I'm cooking up.
